Step by step Guide for Using Foodnerd POS

Whenever we are getting registered with any platform, we encounter many queries like how to get registered or set up your account, etc. If you are setting up your restaurant with Foodnerd, then this guide will help you. Please continue reading it.

How to LOGIN with Foodnerd?

Login to the Foodnerd POS enables you to access the foodnerd POS dashboard where you can enjoy various Foodnerd POS features and manage your restaurants via Android, iOS, and Desktop.

To log in to the Foodnerd POS account, you need to follow these simple steps:

  • check_circle Enter your email and password or simply log in with Facebook
  • check_circle After that, click Login

How to get REGISTERED with Foodnerd POS?

To get started with Foodnerd POS:

  • check_circle A registration form will appear.
  • check_circle Follow the simple steps given below and get your Restaurant registered at Foodnerd POS:

Step 1

The First step requires you to introduce yourself. Enter the required details like your Name, Email address, Contact Number, Location, etc., and Press Continue.


Step 2

Step 2 requires you to enter details related to your restaurant, as highlighted in the image below. By entering the required information, you can create the location/Restaurant with the Foodnerd.


Step 3

Step 3 requires you to choose a pricing plan. Foodnerd POS provides its users with three different pricing options including:


Details of these packages are also mentioned, as you can see in the given image. Choose the best option that matches your restaurant requirements.

Step 4

After choosing the pricing plan, you’ll be successfully registered to Foodnerd POS, and you’ll be directed to Foodnerd POS manager Dashboard which is highlighted below:

How to Add MENU to Foodnerd POS?

Adding a Food menu in Foodnerd POS is very simple. Once the Location/ Restaurant is created in the Foodnerd POS, move to the next step, i.e., Add a Menu.

Please, follow these easy steps:

Step 1

Go here.. A dashboard will appear. Press Add menu Button as shown in the figure below


Step 2

In the second step, add menu pop-up, enter required details like Name, description, and Position, and press “Add Menu.”


Step 3

After adding the menu, your items will appear in your dashboard as shown below:

EDIT or DELETE Option

On the right side of the Menu, there is an option where you can edit or delete the Menu anywhere at any time. As you can see in the image below:

Foodnerd SIDE DRAWER Features

There are different options available as shown below:

Now we will explain how we can add details to use these features.

1. Location

It appears first on the sidebar of Foodnerd POS. To properly use this feature, the user has to follow few steps:

  • check_circle Firstly click on the ‘Location’ feature, and you will be redirected to get its proper access.
  • check_circle Secondly, thoroughly analyze the below picture to understand where you’ll include different details.

2. Home

Under this link, the user can view all his restaurant locations that are operating in different places.

3. Dashboard

  • check_circle The third feature is a dashboard.
  • check_circle Click on the dashboard feature and have a quick overview of restaurant purchases, sales, Expenses, and customer information, as shown in the image.

  • check_circle Inside the dashboard, there is also an option of ‘Change Package.’ From there, you can easily upgrade/downgrade your current package. Just click on the link which is mention in the image below:

4. POS

  • check_circle This feature allows users to perform several actions like accept or reject any order, generate a receipt, set a payment method, etc.
  • check_circle Thoroughly analyze the below image to understand the functionality regarding your incoming and in-progress orders.
  • 5. Drawers

    • check_circle Users can track their drawer reports from here.
    • check_circle Enter the date, year, and month and press ‘Search’ to get a Drawer report of any specific day.

    • check_circle Enter the date, year, and month and press ‘Search’ to get a Drawer report of any specific day.

    • check_circle The reports will appear like this as mentioned below in the image:

    • check_circle Click under the title section to get detailed information regarding the cash drawers.

    6. Expenses

    • check_circle Users can manage the expenses of the restaurants under this feature.
    • check_circle Click on the Expenses in the side Dashboard, and you’ll be redirected to the ‘Manage Expenses” page that will appear like the image below.
    • check_circle Analyze the image to have a broader view of the Manage expenses.

    7. Employees/HRM

    • check_circle Users can manage Human resources with this link.
    • check_circle Users can add new employees and their related information by tapping the ‘New Employee’ button.
    • check_circle Users can also Edit or Delete employee Information.

    • check_circle The information on adding New Employee will appear as shown in the image.

    8. Suppliers

    • check_circle Users can manage all the information related to their suppliers from here.
    • check_circle Just click on the ‘suppliers’ option in the Sidebar, and you will be redirected to the ‘Suppliers’ page.

    • check_circle To add suppliers, you need to add some information as shown below:

    9. Reports

    • check_circle Under the Report section, user can view all different reports as shown below:

    • check_circle To get ‘Item Report’ click on it, and a page of Item Sales Report will appear as shown below:

    • check_circle To get ‘Menu Report’ click on it, and a page of Menu Sales Report will appear as shown below:

    • check_circle To get ‘Order Report’ click on it, and an Order Sales Report page will appear as shown below:

    • check_circle To get ‘Rejection Report,’ click on it you will be redirected to the Rejected page. Select the date, day, and year press the Search bar, and rejected order list with details will appear as shown below:

    • check_circle To get ‘Employee Commission Report’ click on it, and a page will appear as shown below:

    • check_circle To get ‘Supplier Due Report’, click on it, and the Supplier Due Report page will appear as shown below:

    • check_circle To get ‘the Supplier Ledger Report,’ click on it, a page will appear as shown below.

    • check_circle To get ‘Purchase and Sales Report’ click on it, and a page will appear as shown below:
    • check_circle Enter the date and tap the search button.

    • check_circle To get ‘Profit and Loss Report’ click on it, and a page of Profit and Loss will appear as shown below:
    • check_circle Users can locate the profit and loss on its purchases and sales from:

    10. Inventory Management

    • check_circle To manage your inventory, you need to go to ‘stock location’ under inventory management.

    11. Financials

    • check_circle Under the financial link, the user can view its invoices and different packages.
    • check_circle Click on the Invoices option a page will appear where the user can add a menu and view the restaurant’s annual sale, Total products, etc. as shown in the image below:

    • check_circle To view, the packages click on the Package under the Financial link. A page will appear as shown below.
    • check_circle There are three different packages i.e. Starter, Main course, and Speciality.
    • check_circle Select the package that matches your restaurant requirements.

    12. Location Statistics

    • check_circle Users can view its restaurant location statistics under this link.
    • check_circle You can also filter to view details of specific days, years, or months.

    13. Marketing/Offers

    • check_circle Under Marketing/Offers, users can avail three different features as highlighted below.

    • check_circle To manage marketing campaigns, click on the ‘Marketing Campaigns’ option; a page will appear. Manage settings as highlighted below:

    • check_circle To share your marketing campaigns on a Social platform, click on the Social sharing Under Marketing/Offers option and thoroughly observed below image.

    • check_circle To create new offers for marketing. Go to the ‘Offers’ option under Marketing/Offers and thoroughly analyze the below image for further guidelines.

    14. Customers

    • check_circle To Manage Customers Click on the ‘Customers’ link, and ‘Manage Customer’ page will appear.
    • check_circle Conduct settings accordingly, as highlighted in the image below:

    15. User Management

    • check_circle To manage the users click on User Management option and thoroughly analyze below image:

    16. Settings

    • check_circle Inside settings, there are different options available as shown below:

    • check_circle To manage Printer settings, click on the ‘Printer Settings’ option under Settings. A page will appear as shown below; conduct changes accordingly.

    • check_circle To enable notifications settings of Email, Mattermost, SMS and Push Notifications, just click on the notification settings. The page will appear as highlighted below. Enable and disable settings accordingly.

    • check_circle To manage the Data Setting, click on it and view the below image for further details.

    • check_circle For payment, settings go to the Payment Settings link and process accordingly. As shown below:

    • check_circle To change the payment method, Visit Payment Method Settings and thoroughly analyze the below image to have a quick view.

    17. Announcements

    Under this link, the user can view, create, delete or edit an announcement as shown in the image.

    18. Profile

    • check_circle The Profile link allows users to update their details, get help, and view the terms and conditions of Foodnerd, as highlighted in the image below.
    • check_circle Just click on any link to change the payment method access.

    19. Logout

    • check_circle To log out of foodnerd POS, click on the Logout option as shown in the image below.
    • check_circle You will be safely logged out.
